Although some people arrived yesterday, the majority arrived today...some very early and others, who had been visiting around Ireland, later in the day. Three others joined me at Christ Church Cathedral for services this morning with time to tour the church and have coffee/tea in the crypt after the service. I always enjoy the services here with the execllent Cathedral Choir.
About 2:30 I was available in the lobby to answer any questions and discuss the week's schedule. At 6 pm we were joined by Fiona Fitzsimons and Brian Donovan of Eneclann (also FindMyPast and the Irish Family History Centre) for dinner in the hotel. Participants had a chance to talk with them before, during and after dinner. As always, they were generous with their time and expertise answering both general questions, and making specific recommendations when needed. It was an early night to get some rest before we start our research tomorrow.
