Lakewood Ranch Genealogy Club
December 7, 2020
The Lakewood Ranch Genealogy Club meets on the first Monday of the month from November through April at the Lakewood Ranch Town Hall. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. and all are welcome. For additional information please email LWR Genealogy with inquiries.
Because of COVID-19, our programs will be done via Zoom. If you are on our mailing list you will receive an email before each meeting with the connection information. If you would like to be added to the mailing list for upcoming Lakewood Ranch Genealogy Club information, please complete the form below.
Because of some technical difficulties (mine),Saving a Life: Your Family’s Health History will be the topic for the December meeting. For many years, health professionals have known that many common health problems run in families. The more you know about your family health history, the more you can do to reduce your risk of serious illness. As genealogists and family historians we routinely collect information about our ancestors and the causes of their deaths but putting the information together in a documented health history can not only assist your physician, but may save your life. Passing this information to your children or other family members may also provide them with life saving information.
Thank you to Kim Sheintal for jumping in with her presentation on Genealogical Research during the Pandemic tonight for our November meeting. I'll work with Kim to get some of her great ideas posted to the Resources page for those of you who missed it.
Stay safe and healthy.
