The Lakewood Ranch Genealogy Club meets on the first Monday of the month from November through April at the Lakewood Ranch Town Hall. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. and all are welcome. For additional information please email LWR Genealogy with inquiries.
The next meeting of the Lakewood Ranch Genealogy Club will be February 3, 2020 with a program on Organizing Your DNA Results. The presenter for this Webinar is Diahan Southard. If you struggle with organizing your matches, Diahan will explain the very best and easiest thing you can do that will lead to fewer repeated searches and thus a more productive session with your genetic genealogy test results.
Diahan is a leading voice for consumer DNA testing from her position as Founder of Your DNA Guide. Diahan teaches internationally, consults with leading testing companies and forensics experts. Southard's company, Your DNA Guide (YourDNAGuide.com), deploys a team of scientists who provide one-on-one genetic genealogy education and research services. You will walk away from an interaction wither her enlightened and motivated as she has a passion for genetic genealogy, a genuine love for people, and a gift for making the technical understandable.
Also, Nancy Johnson will be offering genealogy classes beginning in January.
-Beginning Genealogy will be given in the Living Lord Lutheran Church conference room on Thurs., Jan. 23 from 1-4pm
-Navigating Family Tree Maker will be given on Tues., Jan. 28 from 1-4pm in the Living Lord Lutheran Church Conference Room

Living Lord Lutheran Church (11107 Palmbrush Trail, Bradenton, FL 34202) is in Lakewood Ranch near SR 70. Go East on SR70 from Int. 75 to the traffic light at Lakewood Ranch Blvd. Turn RIGHT onto LWR Blvd. and then take your first RIGHT onto Palmbrush Trail. The church is the 2nd one (painted blue) on your righthand side. Go in through the main doors to the sanctuary.
