   I frequently mention websites and/or products such as research books or materials in various blogs.  I do this because they are valuable resources for those doing research on their Irish ancestors.  In some cases, I have an affiliate relationship which means if you click on a link and then purchase a product, I receive a small payment from the vendor (in no case does this affect the price you pay).  These payments are very small but help pay for the cost of hosting and maintaining my website and help to keep it free.   I do not recommend products that I do not use myself.  You’ll also find, that even with products where I have an affiliate relationship, I will mention problems that I see and if possible provide work arounds.  I also communicate these issues and concerns to the vendors involved.
