2023 Ireland Research Trips

I'm pleased to announce the 2023 Ireland Research Trips will take place in October. The Dublin trip will run from Saturday, October 7 to Saturday, October 14, 2023 and will include The National Library, The National Archives, The Valuation Office, The Registry of Deeds and the General Register Office. Additional repositories such as the Representative Church Body Library can be scheduled on an as needed basis. In addition, each of the Dublin researchers will have the opportunity to meet with a consultant from the Irish Family History Centre for a half hour consultation and enjoy a tour of the EPIC Emigration Museum. Buswells (where we have stayed in the past) is unfortunately up for sale and they are unable to provide pricing information, so I've made arrangements at The Green Hotel on the corner of St. Stephen's Green.
The October Belfast trip is scheduled from Saturday, October 14 to Saturday, October 21, 2023 staying at The Belfast Hilton. The Hilton is about a 15 minute walk from PRONI and close to the downtown area. The week’s research includes the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI), the Ulster Historical Foundation, The Linen Hall Library, and the North of Ireland Family History Society. Additional repositories such as the Presbyterian Historical Society can be scheduled if needed.
